Kiekko-Vantaa has strengthened its ranks with Teemu Henritius, who has signed a one-year contract with the club. The 33-year-old forward moves to Vantaa from Helsinki Jokers.

For Henritius, this return is also a return to a familiar environment, as he has previously represented Kiekko-Vantaa during loan spells in the 2011–2012 and 2013–2014 seasons.

The forward has extensive experience from various league levels throughout his career. In the top league, he has played a total of 370 games over nine seasons. Additionally, he has played 40 games for junior national teams, 170 games in Mestis, and one season in Germany’s DEL2 league.

Kiekko-Vantaa’s head coach Mikko Heiskanen sees the acquisition as a significant addition to the team.

– Bringing such a strong player into the team is a significant matter. “Tintti” is an important piece of the puzzle and he brings with him a tremendous amount of experience and leadership.
