The player who has represented Lukko for nearly the last three seasons, Steven Jandric, continues his career in the Czech top league.

The 29-year-old Canadian forward’s new team is BK Mladá Boleslav. According to Czech sources, Jandric is set to arrive in the country as early as Tuesday and join his new team’s roster as soon as possible.

The skilled winger played a total of 149 regular season games for the Rauma team, scoring 42+47=89 points. In the playoffs, the Canadian appeared in Lukko’s jersey 18 times with stats of 4+6=10.

Jandric’s career could have continued in Finland as well – and even with Lukko’s arch-rival.

The forward was previously linked to Porin Ässät. According to rumors, the Pori club also made a contract offer to Jandric, which the Canadian did not accept.
