The league’s superstar is leaving – rumors are taking him to Jokerit!
KalPa announced on Tuesday the departure of star forward Patrick Curry from the club.
The club thanked the American forward for two seasons in a statement it released.
– Thank you, Paddy! Curry was part of winning KalPa’s first Finnish championship in the club’s history in 2025. Thank you for your time at KalPa and good luck in the future, Paddy – forever our champion.
Curry was one of KalPa’s key players for two seasons. In the previous season, he recorded 29+31 points in 60 regular-season games and finished third in the league’s scoring list. This season, the American scored 18+23=41 points in 44 games.
During his two seasons with KalPa, Curry played a total of 104 games and collected 101 points.
Yle reported in January that Curry will move to Jokerit’s Liiga team for the next season.
