The league scoring machine went to Russia – now a new solution has arrived

Forward Max Ellis, who represented Jukurit in the league during the 2024–25 season, has signed a one-year contract with AHL team Hamilton Hammers.
The 26-year-old American forward played last season in the KHL for HK Sochi and Shanghai Dragons. He appeared in a total of 52 games for the teams, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists. He accumulated a total of 30 points.
Before his move to the KHL, Ellis played one season in the league with Jukurit. He recorded eight goals and ten assists in 25 regular season games, totaling 18 points.
Before his years in Europe, Ellis played in the AHL for the Toronto Marlies. He managed to play a total of 87 games in the farm league, collecting 14 goals and 20 assists.
