JYP’s defender Teemu Eronen has received some unfortunate news. JYP reports on their website that Eronen will be sidelined as the training season begins.
According to JYP, Eronen is rehabilitating outside the team’s activities and his recovery is being monitored.
What makes the situation even more unfortunate for Eronen is that injuries severely disrupted his last season as well. He was only able to play nine games with a score of 0+3.
In the season before last, Eronen, 35, played 57 games for JYP, achieving a career-high in Liiga with 10+29=39 points. He also served as JYP’s captain that season.
Aside from Eronen’s absence, JYP’s health situation is good. No one else is sidelined from the team as the training season begins.
