The league club terminated the contract of its forward – a new address was found quickly
Jukurit announced on Monday that they have terminated the contract of forward Santeri Koskela.
Koskela, 22, quickly found a new team. The Mestis club IPK has signed a contract with Koskela for the upcoming season.
– Santeri is an experienced and versatile center for his age, which is always needed in a team. In addition to his strong two-way skills, I believe he also has the potential to score points. Sane unexpectedly became available, and fortunately, we were able to react quickly, IPK’s development manager Niko Härkönen says in the club’s announcement.
Last season, Koskela played 49 games for Jukurit with a score of 1+1. The forward, originally from Jyväskylä, has played a total of 164 games in the Liiga with JYP and Jukurit, scoring 7+8=15 points.
