Finnish defender Roni Sevänen, 31, is moving abroad for the first time in his career. He has signed a contract with Norwegian top-tier club Lillehammer for the upcoming season.

Last season, Sevänen played in the Mestis league for Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat. He recorded 2+2 points in 25 regular season games and 0+1 in six playoff games.

During his Liiga career, Sevänen has played 452 regular season games (19+62=81) and 31 playoff games (1+2). He has represented Lukko, Ässät, and TPS. Sevänen won the Finnish championship with Lukko in 2021.
