The foreign defender leaves the League – new address confirmed

Canadian defenseman Nicholas Welsh, 28, who played for KooKoo last season, is moving to the top league in Great Britain. Manchester Storm has signed a contract with Welsh for the upcoming season.
Welsh started last season in the ICEHL with the Austrian team HC Innsbruck, playing 37 games with 0+9 points. He joined KooKoo in February and managed to play 11 regular season games with 1+3 points and three playoff games without any points.
In the league, Welsh has also represented JYP. In the 2023-24 season, he played 22 games with JYP, scoring 1+2 points. Welsh left the team mid-season for Germany.
