After being surprisingly eliminated by HPK in the opening round of the playoffs, Lukko continues to reshape its roster with an eye on next season. Lukko announced again on Saturday the departure of one player. This time, the club is losing forward Steven Jandric.

The 28-year-old Canadian represented Lukko for two and a half seasons and was long one of the team’s reliable offensive players.

Jandric played a total of 149 regular season games for Lukko, with stats of 42+47=89, and 18 playoff games (4+6=10). His best season was in 2024–25, when he amassed an impressive point total of 21+24=45. However, this past season, his performance clearly dropped to 9+13=22.

In recent days, Lukko has also seen the departures of Ponthus Westerholm, Pathrik Westerholm, Niclas Almari, Alex Peters, and Antoine Morand, whose departure was announced on Friday evening.

Morand was Lukko’s fifth most effective scorer in the regular season, with stats of 10+19=29.
