The clearance sale of Jukurit continues! Now the backup reinforcement is going out.
Mikkelin Jukurit seems to have started clearance sales. Earlier on Friday, the club announced that it had loaned Thomas Olsen to EHC Visp for the remainder of the season.
Now the next player has left. Jukurit announces that it has terminated the contract of defenseman William Worge Kreü.
– William has been an important part of our team and daily life. We want to thank him for his time at Jukurit and for the work he has put in for the team. We wish William all the best and success in his future challenges, Jukurit’s sports director Mikko Hakkarainen says in the club’s statement.
Worge Kreü has played 47 games this season in Jukurit’s defense. In those, the Swedish defenseman has recorded 3+7=10 points. His plus/minus statistic is 12 steps below zero.
After 51 games played, Jukurit is second to last in the league. The team from Mikkeli has a total of 59 points. The last playoff spot is held by HIFK with 66 points.
