Aleksi Saarela returning to his former club Rauman Lukko from TPS next season will receive a hefty salary, Urheilucast reports.
– According to Urheilucast, he will earn 360,000 euros gross per season without benefits. So that’s Aleksi Saarela’s price tag for playing at Rauman Lukko, Esko Seppänen said during the broadcast.
Urheilucast states that Saarela was very close to Lukko a year ago, but in the end, the situation turned at the last moment when TPS entered the bidding war.
– Lukko was given a budget deadline, and it was by a hair’s breadth that the package would be in place, the situation was described in the program.
Saarela played 53 matches for TPS this season, collecting stats of 20+15=35.
