Tappara has received bad news. The league’s disciplinary committee has imposed a one-game suspension on Tappara forward Oiva Keskinen.
The suspension stems from Saturday’s match against Mikkelin Jukurit. Keskinen lost his temper after a scramble in front of the net and hit Jukurit’s Severi Immonen in the face with his stick. No penalty was called for the hit during the game.
Keskinen has played 14 games for Tappara this season, with stats of 4+3=7. Last season, he scored 35 points in the regular season.
