The Finnish championship winner Tappara announces a forward acquisition.

Having played the last three seasons with Ässät, Dylan Fabre is moving to Tampere on a two-season contract.

Fabre, who has played for the French national team in the Olympics and three top-level World Championships, has consistently scored 12, 13, and 12 goals in the league’s regular season.

Tappara’s GM Janne Vuorinen commented on the acquisition in a press release.

– Fabre is an extremely fast and explosive team player. Dylan masters the penalty kill and has demonstrated his ability to play at a high level night after night.

Fabre has played a total of 167 games in the SM-liiga, including regular season and playoffs, where he has recorded 40+39=79 points.
