Tappara star Aapeli Räsänen: suspension!

The league’s disciplinary delegation has imposed a temporary suspension on Tappara forward Aapeli Räsänen.
Räsänen checked Simon Johansson in the head area during Friday’s match against Ilves. He was penalized with a game misconduct for the head check. Räsänen has been placed under a temporary suspension during the disciplinary process, as Tappara is playing their next match today, Saturday.
Ilves scored two goals during Räsänen’s five-minute penalty. The game ultimately ended with Ilves winning in overtime with a final score of 4-3.
Räsänen has played 38 games this season, recording 16+9=25 points.
