Tappara dropped a huge contract news
Tappara announced on Friday a massive contract extension.
The Tampere-based club announced that star forward Joachim Blichfeld will continue with the team on a two-year contract. It extends until the spring of 2028.
Blichfeld is having an impressive first season in the Liiga. The 27-year-old Dane has scored 46 points in 36 games with a record of 20+26, ranking second in the league’s scoring list just behind his linemate Benjamin Rautiainen.
− Blichfeld is an elite player in the Liiga and a top-class goal scorer, which all teams are looking for. Jocke’s ability to make decisions is exceptionally high, and we are extremely happy that he will continue in the Tappara jersey in the coming seasons, commented Tappara’s GM Janne Vuorinen in the announcement.
The forward selected for the Danish Olympic team is happy to continue in a familiar club.
− I am happy here, and everything around me is really, really good. I don’t believe there are many teams in Europe that have as good conditions as we do, Blichfeld rejoices.
