Tappara: a harsh counterattack!
Tappara and HPK will meet on Tuesday for the fifth quarter-final match. Tappara will head into the game without their first-line center Oiva Keskinen, who is not listed in the lineup.
Keskinen has long led Tappara’s first line, which features Kristian Tanus and Kasper Simontaival on the wings. Now, Julius Mattila will take Keskinen’s place in the center.
Keskinen has recorded 0+2 points in four playoff games. During the regular season, he tallied 20+17=37 points in 49 games.
Also missing from Tappara’s lineup is Ondrej Pavel. Juuso Nykänen and Oliver Suvanto will join the playing roster as fresh additions.
Since the last match, Axel Skinnari has dropped out of HPK’s lineup. Meanwhile, Oliver Kopiloff will step into the playing roster. Cameron Wright, who has missed the last two games, is still sidelined from action.
Tappara has a chance to clinch on Tuesday in Tampere. They lead the quarter-final series with a match score of 3-1.
