The Pelicans announced a big contract extension news on Saturday. The team’s star goalie Patrik Bartosak, 32, has signed a two-season contract extension.
Bartosak has been one of the best goalies in the league this season by all possible measures. The Czech goalie has saved 92.38% of shots in 22 games. This figure is the second best in the league.
Bartosak has recorded six shutouts this season, which is clearly the highest number. Five goalies share the second place with three shutouts each.
