Source: The trusted man of the league club is attracting strong interest – three clubs on his heels
The Swedish defender Kim Johansson, who has represented Jukurit for two seasons, is currently attracting interest from several clubs in his home country’s second tier, Allsvenskan. NSD reports that Leksand, AIK, and Kalmar are on Johansson’s trail.
Johansson, 27, played 37 games for Jukurit this season, recording 1+14 in points. His season ended with an injury back in January. In his first Liiga season, Johansson scored 9+18=27 points in 54 games, making him Jukurit’s most effective defender.
According to NSD, Johansson underwent hip surgery a month and a half ago. He is expected to be back in playing condition by the start of next season.
Johansson has previously played in Allsvenskan for Björklöven, Vita Hästen, and Västervik. In the SHL, he has represented Luleå.
