Swedish defender Jonathan Andersson will leave Tappara after this season. The Swedish site Barometern-OT reports that Andersson will move to Kalmar HC, which plays in Allsvenskan, for next season.

Andersson, 32, has played 54 regular season games for Tappara this season, scoring 2+10 points. He has not yet been in the lineup during the playoffs.

Andersson joined Tappara during last season from Färjestad. At that time, he played 13 regular season games in the Liiga without scoring and nine playoff games, netting one goal.

In his career, Andersson has played 440 games in the SHL. He last played in Allsvenskan during the 2016-17 season.

Andersson played 14 games for the Swedish national team during the 2017-19 seasons.
