Canadian forward Felix Robert is moving to Liiga next season, reports Expressen. According to sources from the Swedish newspaper, Robert is joining Tappara.
Robert, 26, is currently playing his second season in the SHL with Växjö Lakers. This season, he has recorded 24 points in 52 regular season games with 16 goals and 8 assists, making him the team’s second-best scorer.
In five playoff games, Robert has scored 1 goal and 1 assist. Växjö’s season continues in the SHL semifinals.
Before his years in Sweden, Robert played in the AHL. He scored 34 points in three consecutive AHL seasons.
Robert has one impressive season in terms of points from his junior days in the QMJHL. In the 2019-2020 season, he racked up an impressive 92 points in 46 games with 36 goals and 56 assists.
