Swedish forward Lars Bryggman, 33, is making a return to the Liiga rink after a one-season break, reports Expressen.

According to the Swedish newspaper, Bryggman is moving to TPS for the next season. The news was later reported by Ilta-Sanomat.

Also in the running for Bryggman was Tampereen Ilves. The parties had already negotiated a contract, but Bryggman ultimately chose TPS.

For the last three seasons, Bryggman represented Pelicans, where he won silver twice. Bryggman has played a total of 158 regular season games in the Liiga, with a scoring record of 57+60=117. Last season was his best in terms of points, as he achieved 23+26=49 in 52 games.

Bryggman is currently playing in the SHL for Skellefteå AIK, where he has recorded 9+7=16 points in 40 games.
