Severe absences for Tappara and KooKoo: three players out!

The league final series between Tappara and KooKoo continues immediately on Saturday with the fifth meeting in Tampere. Tappara defeated KooKoo in Kouvola on Friday in the fourth final, which went to four overtimes, with a score of 3-2, leveling the series at 2-2.

Both Tappara and KooKoo have adjusted their lineups for Saturday’s match. Both have faced harsh setbacks: Henrik Haapala, who left the previous match, is out of Tappara’s lineup. KooKoo will be without Ville Meskanen and Jesper Ahlroth.

A relieving piece of news for KooKoo is that defender Jimi Suomi, who left the previous match, is included in the lineup today.

With Haapala’s absence, Juuso Nykänen has risen to Tappara’s lineup. KooKoo has replaced the absences of Meskanen and Ahlroth with Ossi-Petteri Jaakola and Kalle Loponen. Of these, Loponen has only been in the lineup for three matches in the playoffs so far.
