Sebastian Aho passed Teemu Selänne
The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL playoffs with a score of 4-1 and took the lead in the second-round series with a match score of 3-0.
Carolina’s Sebastian Aho recorded his first point of the playoff series. He assisted Andrei Svetshnikov on a power-play goal in the final period. Aho has scored 3+1 points in seven playoff games.
At the same time, Aho raised his NHL playoff point total to 37+52=89. With this, Aho moved up to fourth place in the all-time playoff scoring list for Finnish players in the NHL, surpassing Teemu Selänne, who had a playoff career total of 44+44=88.
The top three in the all-time playoff scoring list for Finnish players are Jari Kurri (106+127=233), Esa Tikkanen (72+60=132), and Mikko Rantanen (44+86=130).
