SaiPa, on a six-game winning streak, faces JYP in Friday’s Liiga round. The team has received some welcome news on match day.
Antti Kalapudas returns to SaiPa’s lineup after being sidelined for over three weeks. He last played on September 24 and missed seven games since then.
Before his absence, Kalapudas recorded 1+4 points in six games. He returns to his familiar spot on SaiPa’s first line, where he plays alongside Otto Kivenmäki and Miikka Salomäki.
Last season, Kalapudas finished with impressive stats of 26+23=49 points in 54 regular-season games and 8+5=13 points in 21 playoff games.
