Defender Olli Juolevi, representing Tappara for the third season, has become the subject of transfer rumors. Hokej.cz reports that the Czech club HC Energie Karlovy Vary is interested in Juolevi.
Iltalehti has previously reported in February that Juolevi’s next season team would be Jokerit.
Juolevi, 27, has played 18 regular season games for Tappara this season, recording 0+3 points, and seven playoff games, scoring one goal. His contract with Tappara ends after this season.
Juolevi is the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. He has played 41 games in the NHL, with 2+1 points, representing not only the Canucks but also the Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings.
