Revelation: several League clubs are chasing the Finnish shooter from the SHL
Heikki Liedes has moved to Luleå in the SHL for the 2025-26 season. The season has not gone as expected, as the two-way forward has recorded modest stats of 2+4=6 in 41 games.
In an interview with NSD, Liedes revealed that he has been sought back to Finland for next season. Several different Liiga teams are after him.
– I don’t have to worry about not getting a job in the fall, Liedes commented.
Liedes said that the interest means he doesn’t have to make a decision right away. He can wait calmly until the end of the season.
Liedes says he hopes to continue in Luleå and that he likes the SHL.
In his career, Liedes has won the Finnish championship with Lukko in the 2020-21 season. His best performance came while playing for KooKoo in the 2022-23 season, when he scored 20 goals and 34 points in 60 games.
