Raimo Helmisen SaiPalta radical move
Raimo Helmisen led SaiPa will head into the third match of the semi-final series in Kouvola without star forward Maxime Fortier.
SaiPa’s golden helmet Fortier has been quiet in the spring games and made big mistakes in the previous match, where KooKoo took a 2–0 lead in the series.
Also missing for SaiPa is defender Ondrej Trejbal, who received a two-game suspension for Marcus Davidsson‘s boarding penalty. Joining SaiPa’s lineup are Otto Hokkanen and Vertti Svensk. Returning to goal is Kari Piiroinen, who missed one game.
KooKoo’s Kim Nousiainen returns to the lineup after a one-game absence. Tomas Mazura will join the offense, and Oskari Luoto will move to center in the second line to replace the suspended Davidsson. In goal continues Eetu Randelin.
KooKoo and SaiPa will meet today in Kouvola at 18:30.
