Petteri Nummelin’s son Rene Nummelin, 21, is going on loan to Mestis.
Nummelin, representing TPS, joins the Joensuu Kiekko-Pojat team with a loan agreement valid until December 14. TPS has the right to recall Nummelin earlier if needed.
Defender Nummelin has played his first two games in the Liiga this season in a TPS jersey. Additionally, he has played 16 games this season with TPS’s U20 team, scoring 0+7 points.
– The arrangement provides Nummelin with a good environment where he can gain important men’s game experience, as described in TPS’s announcement.
Kiekko-Pojat will play eight games during Nummelin’s loan period.
