NHL star duo out of the Olympics – replacements confirmed!

The Swedish team for the February Olympics has undergone changes.
The country’s ice hockey federation announces that Minnesota Wild forward Marcus Johansson and Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm will join the Swedish Olympic team. They will replace Leo Carlsson and Jonas Brodin, who will miss the tournament due to injuries.
Johansson, 35, has recorded 34 points with 13 goals and 21 assists in 48 games this season. Lindholm, 32, has played 39 games this season with 16 points from 3 goals and 13 assists.
Johansson has previously competed in the Olympics once in 2014. This will be Lindholm’s first Olympic Games.
