NHL: signed contracts – Million deal for Tappara player!

Vegas Golden Knights has signed a three-year entry-level contract with Finnish defenseman Juho Piiparinen. The team announced the contract on Thursday.
Piiparinen, 17, was selected in the first round of this summer’s NHL Draft with the 29th overall pick. Vegas used their first-round pick on the young Finnish defenseman.
According to PuckPedia, the total value of the contract is $3.23 million.
The 190-centimeter defenseman from Lahti mostly played last season within the Tappara organization. He participated in matches for both the club’s U20 team and in the Liiga, in addition to playing in the Mestis with Pyry.
In the Liiga regular season, Piiparinen appeared in 29 games and recorded three assists (0+3).
