NHL power forward hangs up the skates – career of 1177 NHL games comes to an end

Forward Milan Lucic has decided to retire from his playing career. The power forward is hanging up his skates at the age of 38.
Lucic’s glory days are far behind him. This season, the forward played five AHL games with the Springfield Thunderbirds. Additionally, he played 26 games in the EIHL with the Fife Flyers, scoring 5+7=12 points.
In his long career, Lucic played 1177 games in the NHL and recorded 586 points. Over the years, he represented the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers, and Calgary Flames.
Lucic won the Stanley Cup championship with Boston in 2011.
