New contract for the top statistics of the SM-liiga

Eetu Randelin, 24, continues with KooKoo for the next two seasons.
The Kouvola club announced the new contract of its goalkeeper after the victory against Kiekko-Espoo on Saturday.
Randelin’s contract had a one-year option, which has now been exercised. The contract was also extended by one season, meaning the goalie will remain in Kouvola at least until 2028.
The goalkeeper is the statistical leader in the SM-liiga, as his save percentage of 91.8 is the best in the league.
Randelin has played the last two seasons with KooKoo. This season, he has been between the posts in 25 games, of which 14 have been victories.
