The Mestis club Imatran Ketterä has announced several player contracts in recent days. On Tuesday, it informed that it has made a contract with forward Valtteri Piirosen.

Piirosen, 21, has represented HIFK in recent years. Last season, he played 13 Liiga games for the club, and in the previous season, he accumulated five Liiga games. He did not score any points.

This season, Piirosen suffered from injuries, so the number of games remained low. He also played eight regular-season games for HIFK’s U20 team with stats of 0+5 and three playoff games with points of 1+1.

Piirosen has represented Finland in ten international matches in the U18 and U20 age groups.

Ketterä has announced several player contracts this week and last week. Recently, the club has also added Lenni Tiihonen, Simo Heinonen, Aaron Hakala, Valtteri Viirret, Atte Heinänen, Niko Himmanen, and Frans Viita to its roster.

In addition, Ketterä has signed extension contracts in recent days with the following players: Reima-Ville Roos, Santeri Salmela, Joona Lehtinen, Eetu Paasovaara, Jasper Rannisto, Joonatan Lempiäinen, Juho Hallikas, Noel Pietilä, Väinö Tanninen, Jami Käkränen, Mikko Liukkonen, and Aleksi Niemi.
