Magazine: TPS is preparing a major takeover – a star forward is awaiting a lucrative offer!
Canadian forward Brendan Shinnimin is strongly linked to TPS in rumors. According to Expressen the report, the 35-year-old forward’s current team Luleå HF has offered a contract extension with a lower salary, but the parties have not reached an agreement.
TPS is said to be closely monitoring the situation. Expressen reports that TPS is ready to invest significantly to bring Shinnimin into their ranks.
Shinnimin has played five seasons in Luleå. This season, he has recorded 11 points in 34 games, with 5 goals and 6 assists. Earlier in the season, he also played for HC Slovan Bratislava, where he had 1 goal and 4 assists in nine games.
Previously, Shinnimin has also represented Växjö Lakers in the SHL. He has been a consistent player with around 30 points in recent years and has won the Swedish championship twice.
In his career, Shinnimin has also played in the NHL for the Arizona Coyotes and in several top leagues across Europe.
