Christoffer Sedoff, 24, moves from North America to the League. Jukurit announces that it has signed the defender to a contract lasting until the end of the 2026–2027 season, which includes a trial period ending on November 22.

Helsinki-born Sedoff has played the last five seasons in North America in the AHL and WHL. He started last season with the Henderson Silver Knights and transferred mid-season to the Milwaukee Admirals.

He played a total of 50 AHL games last season and recorded 0+4 points. In total, Sedoff has played 148 games in the AHL. He has also represented Finland in the U16–U20 national junior teams.

Jukurit’s sports director Mikko Hakkarainen discusses the background of the acquisition and the strengths of the newcomer.

– We needed depth in defense and an opportunity arose to negotiate with Sedoff about his arrival in Mikkeli. As a player, Sedoff is known as a reliable two-way defender who is good at passing and starting plays, Hakkarainen says.

Sedoff will join Jukurit’s practices on Tuesday, October 13. His first game in front of the new home crowd could be as soon as Saturday.
