Liiga contract terminated – Petteri Nummelin’s son is changing scenery!

TPS announces that it has terminated the player contract of defender Rene Nummelin. The decision was made by mutual agreement between the parties.
TPS club legend Petteri Nummelin’s 21-year-old son was seen on the Liiga ice for the first time this season. Nummelin played a total of two games in the Liiga without scoring points.
This season, Nummelin has mostly represented TPS’s U20 team, where he has played 20 games with a scoring record of 1+10=11. Additionally, he spent an eight-game loan period with Joensuun Kiekko-Pojat.
Nummelin’s next destination is not yet known.
