Finnish forward Leo Komarov has quietly joined the ranks of Swiss powerhouse HC Davos.
The Swiss newspaper Suedostschweiz reports that Komarov is seeking a position in Davos with a tryout contract. If all goes well, the 38-year-old Finn will participate in the legendary Spengler Cup with Davos.
Davos will make a decision regarding Komarov’s contract by the end of this week.
Komarov has been without a team this season. The former NHL forward played 39 regular season games last season with HIFK, recording 6+13=19 points.
