Karu setback – KalPa’s star duo sidelined!
KalPa announced on their website the situation of their sickbay.
The team has lost two important players to the injury list since the last match. Juuso Mäenpää and Patrick Curry are expected to return to playing condition according to KalPa in weeks 2-4. Thus, the duo will be sidelined for several weeks.
Mäenpää has recorded 28 points in 28 games this season with 7+21=28 and Curry has scored 22 points in 29 games with 10+12=22. In KalPa’s internal scoring chart, Mäenpää is in second place and Curry is in fourth.
Currently in KalPa’s sickbay is also Kristjan Kombe, who has played only three games this season, and is expected to return to action in the coming days. Additionally, Ville Ruotsalainen, who has been sidelined for the entire early season, is set to return either next week or the week after.
