Last season, the Canadian goaltender Talyn Boyko, who played for KalPa, has found a new team. He has signed a one-year contract with AHL team Rochester Americans.

Boyko, 23, is a 4th round draft pick of the New York Rangers from 2021. He was still under contract with the Rangers last season, and the team loaned him to KalPa for the remainder of the season in November.

At the beginning of last season, Boyko played five AHL games with the Hartford Wolf Pack, posting a save percentage of 89.4. With KalPa, Boyko played 16 regular season games with a save percentage of 87.6 and 11 playoff games with a significantly better save percentage of 92.5.

Boyko has not played in the NHL during his career, and he has only ten AHL games to his name. In the ECHL, he has made saves in 59 games.

Rochester also made a one-year contract with forward Thomas Bordeleau. He has played 44 NHL games in his career with the San Jose Sharks, recording 6+12=18 points.
