KalPalle massive loss
KalPa will face Ilves in the second playoff match of the league on Tuesday without their important forward.
The injured Benjamin Korhonen, who got hurt in the opening game of the series on Sunday, is not listed in the lineup for Tuesday’s match.
The absence of the alternate captain, who played in the second line, is a significant loss for the Kuopio team. Korhonen, who also made his debut with the Lions this season, played 46 regular season games with stats of 6+19=25.
KalPa will also receive reinforcements for their home game on Tuesday, as forward Cade Borchardt and defenseman August Tornberg are back in the lineup.
Ilves won the first meeting between the teams with a score of 3-1. A spot in the semifinals is secured with four wins.
