JYP forward Otto Jaatinen, 23, is moving to the Mestis team IPK on a loan agreement that is valid until further notice. Jaatinen is a product of IPK.
During the last two seasons, Jaatinen has played 30 Liiga games for JYP, scoring two goals. He spent most of the past season playing in Mestis for KeuPa HT, where he recorded 42 games with a total of 6+29=35 points.
– Otto is a familiar player to us and has proven to be a quality player in Mestis. It’s great to have our own product back in our ranks, IPK’s development manager Niko Härkönen commented in the club’s statement.
JYP has the right to recall Jaatinen back to their team if necessary.
