JYP dropped a huge contract news on Christmas Eve. The Jyväskylä club has signed a three-season extension with Santeri Huovila, 21. The last season of the contract includes an overseas option.
– Of course, I feel great about the extension. I have really enjoyed being in Jyväskylä and JYP, Santeri Huovila commented in the club’s press release.
– We saw things the same way with the club. JYP is the place for me where I will take the next step as a player towards my goals, which is to play across the pond.
Huovila has been one of the most effective players in the league this season, measured by points per game. He has scored 3+26=29 points in the 20 games he has played.
