Veteran defender Juuso Pulli has found a new team in the Liiga. The 34-year-old defender, who has played nearly 400 games in the Liiga, will next join the ranks of Ässät.
Pulli’s contract is initially set to last until the end of October.
– The absences in defense require us to react. Juuso Pulli is an experienced player and a tough competitor who was ready to join us on short notice to bring depth to the defense, Ässät’s sports director Jarno Kultanen commented in the club’s announcement.
On Wednesday, Pulli, who is joining Ässät’s training squad, played 56 games last season with JYP, recording 2+4 = 6.
Previously, Pulli has represented JYP, as well as Tappara, Ilves, Sport, and HPK in the Liiga.
