Jukurit’s loan promise: short-term contract to another Liiga club
Jukurit defender Sebastian Soini, 20, moves to Porin Ässät on a two-match loan agreement. The loan covers Ässät’s two weekend matches against Lukko.
Soini joined Jukurit for this season. He has played five matches for the club without scoring any points. Last season, Soini represented Ilves and recorded 3+4 points in 40 Liiga matches.
The need for a defender for Ässät arose due to the injury of Aleksi Anttalainen. Anttalainen will not be available for the team at least for the weekend’s local matches against Lukko.
– The sidelining of Aleksi Anttalainen, along with the U20 young defender and suspension situation for the weekend, created the need for this loan. Sebastian Soini is a talent at the youth national team level, so it is very interesting to have him in the Lukko games. Thank you to Jukurit for the good cooperation, Ässät’s sports director Jarno Kultanen states in the club’s announcement.
