Jokerit is making waves in the transfer market – a former league superstar in their sights!

Helsinki Jokerit has set its sights on American defenseman Matt Caitoon, 32, Expressen reporter Mattias Persson reports.
Caito is a familiar name from the Liiga during the 2019–2020 season, when he represented KooKoo. He recorded impressive stats for a defenseman: 8 goals and 35 assists (43 points) in 59 games. He was named the best defenseman of the season.
Caito has played the last six seasons in Sweden’s SHL with Leksands IF. After the team was relegated to Allsvenskan, he is now looking for a new club.
This season, Caito played 50 games in Leksand with stats of 4+7=11. In his best SHL season, he reached 31 points.
