Ismo Lehkoselta a wild assessment of a league prospect: “Will win the defensemen’s points race”
Ismo Lehkonen has been able to closely follow the summer training of Finnish top hockey players again this summer in Turku.
When talking about Liiga players, “Ika” gives a strong assessment of the upcoming season’s defensemen’s points leader.
– KooKoo’s Jimi Suomi was involved a few times (in the practices), and I was absolutely fascinated by his movement and puck-handling cleverness. Jouko Myrrälle just a greeting, let that boy be a two-way forward, and he will win the defensemen’s points race, Lehkonen gives his bold assessment of the 22-year-old defenseman.
Lehkosen Atro Leppänen compared Suomi played 57 regular season games last season on KooKoo’s blue line with stats of 4+22=26.
