Ilves-Hockey Oy has published its financial results for the fiscal year 1.5.2025–30.4.2026. The result was carved from the same wood as the gloomy announcement made by Tappara earlier this month.

Ilves’ revenue last season was 14.9 million euros. In the previous fiscal year, revenue had been 15.3 million euros, indicating a decrease of 2.7 percent.

The decline in the result was significantly greater. The fiscal year’s result was a loss of 1.186 million euros. In the previous fiscal year, Ilves had a loss of 242,000 euros.

– The net impact of the CHL on the fiscal year’s result was approximately 150 thousand euros negative. The net impact of the league’s playoff revenue distribution model was approximately 400 thousand euros negative. The share of ticket revenue from the semifinal phase that was to be paid to the league was greater than the distribution based on the investment paid to Ilves, as explained in Ilves’ announcement.

– Costs increased particularly in match events, personnel, and sports operations. Improving profitability requires continuous review of the cost structure as well as the development of commercial operations and match event revenues.
