Ilves guard Roope Taponen for rent to a new team!

Ilves informs that they have rented goalkeeper Roope Taponen to the team Ketterä in Imatra for the Mestis league.
The clubs have agreed that Taponen will play matches for Ketterä before the transfer deadline of the Liiga closes on Monday, March 2nd. Between the matches, Taponen will train with Ilves.
Taponen, 24, has been in the role of third goalkeeper at Ilves this season. He has played only six matches for the club with a save percentage of 84.3.
This season, Taponen has also played one match on loan at Kiekko-Espoo. Additionally, he was recently on loan at Ässät, but did not get any playing time there.
