JYP announced earlier this week that forward Harri Pesonen is returning to the hurricane jersey with a two-year contract. In the last five seasons, the 37-year-old winger has played effectively in the Swiss top league.
In Iltalehti’s Hockey Podcast Timo Kunnari revealed that Pesonen will be earning a high salary at JYP.
– According to the rumor I heard, he is one of the most expensive domestic players in the SM-liiga next season, Kunnari revealed.
Kunnari further specified that the best domestic Liiga players will earn up to 400,000 euros next season.
This season, Pesonen scored 14+14=28 points in 45 games with the SCL Tigers.
