IL: The league’s fastest player jumps to a competitor’s ranks!

KooKoo’s forward Joonas Oden is set to change teams after the current season. According to Iltalehti, the 26-year-old forward will move to HPK for the next season. Oden’s current contract with KooKoo ends this spring.
This season, Oden has played 47 Liiga games and recorded stats of 5+20=25. The 183-centimeter forward is particularly known for his speed. Last season, Oden recorded the highest top speed in the Liiga, 38.41 kilometers per hour.
Oden was first seen in the Liiga during the 2018–19 season in KooKoo’s jersey. Throughout his career, he has also played for Ilves, SaiPa, and Ketterä, and has spent time abroad in Austria’s Vorarlberg.
